This is prerelease software and is not production ready.
SimpleHelp 4.3 includes a range of improvements and enhancements over earlier versions of SimpleHelp. The main additions include toolbox actions that can be run remotely, alerting over monitoring information, and the ability to connect to RDP sessions.
- Toolbox - SimpleHelp now allows technicians to create toolbox actions which are commands that can be executed on a remote machine from within a session, or through the Access tab. Toolbox actions can include file resources which will be copied to the remote machine before being executed, allowing the technician to easily automate common tasks like batch installations or updates.
- Alerting - The new Alerts tab now allows technicians to receive notifications, or take action, based on changes to monitoring data returned by remote access services. With alerts you can proactively be notified when problems are about to occur over all your machines without needing to check them manually.
- RDP Sessions - The Alerts tab now displays a list of RDP sessions that are currently active on a remote machine. Technicians can connect to any active RDP session, or can continue to connect to the console session as before.
