Linux Remote Desktop That Is Not an Afterthought

Linux machines deserve the same support as everything else in your estate. SimpleHelp provides remote desktop, terminal access, file transfer and monitoring for Linux, alongside Windows and Mac.

What does good Linux remote support look like?

Linux estates mix graphical desktops, headless servers and different distributions. Good Linux remote support gives you desktop control where there is a desktop, a reliable terminal where there is not, and the same management tools you use for every other platform.

Full support for Linux

SimpleHelp has supported Linux for both technicians and remote machines for many years.

Desktop control

Connect to supported Linux graphical desktops for remote viewing and control.

Terminal and files

Open a shell and transfer files on Linux desktops and servers, with no SSH ports to expose.

Monitoring and scripts

Monitor Linux machines, raise alerts and run Bash, Python, Perl or Ruby tools across groups.

Run the server on Linux

Host your SimpleHelp server on Linux and run the Technician Console there too.

Looking after a Linux lab

A university department runs a lab of Linux workstations. Technicians connect to desktops when students need help, use the terminal for package updates and run a Bash tool across the lab to check disk usage before term starts.
