Remote Access Service Installation

Depending on your operating system the Remote Access Service can be found in the following folder:

  • Windows XP: %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\JWrapper-Remote Access
  • Windows Vista, 7, 8, 10 or later: %PROGRAMDATA%\JWrapper-Remote Access
  • Linux: /opt/JWrapper-Remote Access
  • macOS: /Library/Application Support/JWrapper-Remote Access

Locating Service Logs

Logs for the Remote Access Service can be found in the above folder under a logs subfolder. When sending these logs to SimpleHelp Support it is important to send the entire folder, you can tar or zip this folder before sending to allow it to be easily attached to an email.
