Two years ago BVU set out to replace their remote support solution. After trying several packages and getting quotes we were beyond frustrated. With the budget crunch, it was becoming difficult to maintain over 500 computers located in three different building with the main complex containing 16 acres of floor space. I was looking for a cost-effective way to support our clients without having a technician spend most of his time traveling to the different locations.
After doing some research on the internet I came across SimpleHelp. It was great to be able to purchase and host our own remote access support website. Not having to pay a monthly fee to use a web based remote access product is definitely a benefit, making SimpleHelp a very cost-effective solution.

I have been looking for a cost-effective, but at the same time, complete support solution for our growing client base. Whilst I like the features of LogMeIn, GotoAssist, Bombar etc, I find the ongoing costs plus the cost per device very restrictive and expensive. After googling, I came across SimpleHelp and looked at the price and thought this program isn't going to be much good. I thought what the hell and downloaded it anyway. To say that it's awesome is simply an understatement. It does everything all the competitor products does and more. The facility I like the most is the integration with Simple-Gateway, it's like LogMeIn but on steroids. I would have never have thought such a low-cost product could ever compete with the big-boys on the market, but I was so wrong. Save your money with the ridiculous exorbitant monthly costs and use SimpleHelp. I for one, haven't regretted a single minute of it. Well done to the creators of this magnificent software, you deserve to do very well and I will definitely recommend your product anytime to colleagues and business acquaintances looking for a COMPLETE support solution.

We have not been disappointed. We operate a 10 person technical support team, which operates from several different locations. Previously, we were limited to systems which relied on local setups, port forwarding, and various other complicated systems. With SimpleHelp, our technical teams can work from anywhere. Simply by logging into the administration interface, they are available to help customers, regardless of what machine they are using or where they are geographically.
Personally, I use an Apple Mac - it was always frustrating to me that I couldn't use our previous remote access tool - now, with SimpleHelp, I can - just like everyone else, I can direct a customer to the support page, and connect to them through my web browser.
Being able to take remote control of a customers machine (even if we have never had any dealings with the customer before) within 60 seconds, is an amazing feat, and one which puts our company ahead of the competition. This wouldn't be possible without SimpleHelp.

We were a user of "another product" for 18 months before discovering Simple-Help. We had done research 18 months earlier on all the products out there, free ones, paid ones, none really matched our requirements. The one we settled on "sort of" did (by shoe-horning our requirements into their product) but we quickly found that asking for any changes was a total waste of time (it wasn't going to happen).
Our main reasons for looking were:-
- A simpler method of integration into our program (a one click solution), so that our support customers didn't have to fill in lots of details each time. Other solutions just were not that easy for the end user to setup and use. Simple-Help allowed us to do this quite easily from day one.
- An easy way to add our branding, Simple-Help did this
- We were not locked into someone else's idea of a disclaimer, we could write our own (one that people could actually understand)
- Obviously trying to reduce our overall expenses, Simple-Helps' staggered payment plan allowed us to migrate without too much change to our cashflow
We now run on a hosted linux server which as a bonus has allowed us to also migrate our websites, thus potentially saving us money in the longer term and giving us much more flexibility in our web prescence.
The changes in version 3.1 are a welcome addition, particularly in regard to file transfer and screen scaling, but the best part? they listen to what people want and do something about it!! All success to Simple-Help

About a year and a half ago, I took an annual contract with one of your competitors. As a small IT company, we started the remote service because we were overwhelmed with calls from clients who needed immediate solutions to the issues they were having. It is exceptionally convenient to be able to make a connection to a machine 30 miles away without having to drive there, and to do so in less than a minute impresses the clients to no end.
I was happy with the service, but after a year, I realized that I had shelled out about $1400 and this was going to continue from here forward because we were so dependent on the software.
When the year ended, I decided to shop around for a product I could purchase outright, and install on my own server or a spare computer.
I tried several of your competitors, with yours standing out as the best bang for the dollar for several reasons.
First was price. I could have purchased your software and been slightly ahead had I done so a year and a half ago.
Second, most of your competition requires you to create a package that must be sent to, or be downloaded by, the end user. This would be a time consuming procedure, and would be frustrating to both myself and my clients. You software requires only that the end user opens Internet Explorer and goes to a web page.
Third, I can install the software on any machine. I should point out that I did move it from an over burdened computer to a clean server, and the relay time approached real-time.
Fourth, setup was a snap. My test machine was up and running in less than 15 minutes, and when I moved it to the server, I customized the applet page with our logo, credit card GIF, and a couple other small enhancements. That took less than an hour.
I have since added two more licenses.
So, I just wanted to thank you for offering a reliable, fully functional remote access package at a price that can't be touched. At this point, your software is saving me about $350 a month, and I couldn't be happier!

I have been involved with Simple-Help since it's inception. Like other small computer support companies we needed a tool to provide remote desktop access in order to resolve end user issues.
